Primary Machine recoil springs are intended for use only with our fluted, stainless guide rods.

Color Code:

Yellow: 13#

Red: 15#

Blue: OEM Equivalent

Weight recommendations: We recommend a 15lb recoil spring for every day use and 13lb for suppressor use.

    Was running a 15# recoil spring, then got barrel ported and was having FTF issues. Switched to 13# recoil spring and no more issues! Fit like a glove!

    Bought an OEM blue and a #15 red, so far the #15 red works great with their fluted stainless guide rod.

    Excellent fit, I ordered two of them 15lb and factory lb. I recommend this to anyone wants them.

    I like the fact that they recommend the red spring because I've tried the blue and the red and the red is definitely the way to go
