This slide cut is the perfect balance when no lighting cuts are desired! The slide serrations are perfect! Machine work is flawless and on point!

    Awesome fit and finish

Sent my slide to Bruce and turn around time was phenomenal. But the fit and finish are probably the best I’ve seen. Highly recommend.

Looks amazing, outstanding attention to detail, flawless execution; I’ve had 3 slides milled w/Primary Machine and they have all turned out excellently!

    The Best Slide Ever!

I think the VCC 1 I probably the best cut ever. It’s brings an ordinary slide and makes it look a million bucks.

    UCC V1

Posted by UCC V1tanner cox on Nov 12th 2017

I received my slide back in about half the advertised lead time. I went with the UCC V1 because I wanted to keep the inside of my slide more protected from debris. The craftsmanship is excellent and the cerakote finish is second to none. There isn’t anything that I was displeased with. There are countless companies doing various slide milling. Primary Machine produces a great product for a very competitive price. I would recommend this to anybody who is in the market for milling. Remember: part of being tactical is looking cool. Look no further.

    Awesome Work

Posted by Al on Nov 3rd 2017

First some things not mentioned in the description:
Recoil bosses are machined for RMR's
Slide weight w/ RMR is about 5% less than factory slide weight.
    Now on to the review:
    Communication:
Bruce is extremely responsive and very helpful. I reached out to four popular slide machining companies with some very simple questions that weren't in the product descriptions or FAQ's. Bruce responded within hours, the three other companies I reached out to didn't even bother to reply to me.
    Speed:
8 business days from me dropping my slide off at the post office to it showing up on my front door step.
    The work:
Really really well machined, I have worked in aerospace machine shops for 8+ years, the machine work Bruce is doing is on par with the machine work I see pass through my shops, far above and beyond what you expect for a few hundred dollars of work on a handgun slide.
Cerakote finish is extremely well done, smooth even finish, constant color with no changes in color or shade anywhere. Most important it is not so thick that it makes the slide to frame fit up rough or excessively tight.

If any of his offered cuts interest you don't bother looking elsewhere, just go forward with Bruce doing the work. His prices are very competitive with other popular slide machine shops, his work is super high quality. Where he beats everyone else is his turn around time and customer service. No one can compete with his speed and eagerness to please his customers.

    EDC - Best option IMO

Posted by Thomas R. Coleman on Oct 2nd 2017

I recently ordered the UCC V1 due to the fact that I did not want the window cuts to prevent any failures which I know there wouldn't be however just to be safe I went with this option. I received my slide at my door in around a week!!!!! The quality and smoothness of the cerakote still has me surprised!!! I am incredibly satisfied with my order and I will always use Primary Machine for my future builds for my firearms. I also have fired and used the Comp they manufacture as well and all I can say is that my gun shoots so incredibly flat and fast its crazy!! These guys are not only quick and quality they also have an outstanding customer service team. I dealt with Bruce and he never let me down as well as returned my emails within the hour if not sooner! Don't hesitate just go ahead and make the purchase!!!! I can not vouch for the other cuts however I can tell any millwork done by this company you WON'T be disappointed!! Amazing work again!

First & last company to mill my guns

Posted by Corbin on Sep 26th 2017

I came across a Trijicon RMR for cheap and wanted to find a company that could mill out my slide to accept that. I just happened across Primary Machine and was impressed by their work, and more than anything, their prices.

I convinced myself into the UCC V1 package as I liked its appearance, and didn't feel the need to have window cuts like their other packages.

I sent in my slide and RMR and a little over a month later (I opted for black nitride which slowed the process down.) the package returned, professionally packed, with everything I sent off except better.

The attention to detail in the milling is exceptional. No visible tooling marks and everything is evenly spaced in width and depth. The black nitridge coating is even, smooth, with a nice finish. The coating is what I would personally describe as "satin", not quite matte, but not high gloss. It fits the stock frame perfectly.

I took the gun out to shoot and surprisingly the RMR that they mounted, was pretty close to zero'd. I don't know if I got lucky or if they zero'd prior to shipping but I was impressed.

After only 250 rounds I noticed that the front suppressor height sight, which was purchased and installed via Primary Machine was loose. That is the only "negative" thing I found, but didn't feel that deserved giving a 4 star review.

If I need milling done in the future, I won't hesitate to use them again.
