Other: We mill precision pockets for your optic! While many companies will mill an over sized "one size fits all" pocket, ours is precision as per your optic. The cycling of a pistol slide is not gentle. The last thing you want is all that force to simply be on the mounting screws due to an optic pocket milled too big! Screws have been known the shear and break over time due to improperly milled slides.

Perfection
I have a few friends with red dots attached to pistol slides in various ways but all I hear about is issues with the red dots coming loose. The plate system and the troubles I've witnessed pretty much turned me off from the concept. I read about the way Primary Machine does the work and without a doubt, it's the only way to go. The Burris FastFire 3 I chose fits very tight and can't move so much as a whisker even before the screws are in. And it hasn't shown any signs of movement after shooting. Cerakote looks perfect and the machine work is perfect.

Fit and finish
The mill work fit the optic beautifully. The cerekote looks great. The slide fits a bit tighter to the frame, given the coated rails, but it didn't impact the function of the pistol in any negative way. I ran through a break-in period, just in case, but the slide speed was fine with no failures.
