Dan Wesson DWX Dominus Milling

Short version: Worth every penny in terms of performance.

Longer version: Reducing reciprocating weight is one of the easiest ways to get a semi-auto to run flat. Less muzzle movement equates to higher performance in every respect. The DWX is an excellent handgun but, frankly, the slide is heavy enough that it’s noticeable when you’re running fast. This is particularly evident when shooting back to back with my Shadow 2 (which was also milled by Primary Machine). Between USPSA and Steel Challenge, I’m a multi-Division GM so I’m chasing all the performance I can get. After the first range session with my DWX after coming back from Primary Machine I’m as impressed as I thought I would be. It runs FLAT. A noticeable and significant improvement in recovery and transitions.

And it looks great as a bonus.

Don’t wait, just go ahead and do it.

The DWX already shoots flat out of the box. The additional slide cuts takes it to a new level. The slide cuts, optic milling and cerakote finish were flawless. I immediately felt a difference. Balance shifted further back to the grip and the slide just does its thing. I'm 1000% satisfied with the workmanship.
